I went to see this movie today with my kids thinking it might be good. I loved it! This suit is so much fun! I took my daughter to see it for her 16th Birthday! If you haven’t checked it out and like action flicks you should go see it NOW!

Derby and the B-52s

It has been a fun week for me. I really hate to see it end – but if it didn’t I’d stop appreciating it so there ya have it.
the B-52s did a great show! I danced and danced and jumped ! I appeared in one of the local papers that reported on the event since I was in the front row looking fine and dancing. It rained on us but we didn’t care. It was great! And now to the Derby festivities…
I attended the Governor’s Derby Breakfast this morning. It was interesting to see all the locals decked out in their best. We had Southern Belles again as always, walking about for pics. This year you could get a pic in front of a green screen and show up in front of the Capital.
I came home to see the Derby and was never so sad in all my life when I saw what happened to my horse, Eight Belles, may the horse gods give her much love for a race well run at the expense of her life. Please do a moment of silence for a beautiful animal going out doing what she loved and was born to do.
Now, on a lighter note- I have two pics I got to take while the rain let up! Enjoy!!
And BTW, I think I am the only person I know personally in Kentucky that doesn’t drink Mint Juleps!

What Time Is It?

This picture is of the Bridge I was looking at in Louisville. The color came out blue on camera , but it is actually a really cool violet shade in person. This picture is my personal propery so if you want to copy it or alter it – please ask me first!
I went to Louisvillle last night to see Morris Day and the Time. I had so much fun! It was like getting in the ” Way Back Machine” and trippin thru my teens for a night. I have had some wild times listening to Morris in the past and it was fun to think about all the things I thought and felt back then and realize how far I’ve come since those years! I got to stand in the first row with the people from the local radio station since my sister works there. We got some great pics! Morris was looking just as fine as ever. He asked us” what’s a matter little girl, haven’t you ever seen a pimp before?” I had a great night. On Friday, we are gonna see B-52s! then I have the derby breakfast on Saturday and a cookout. I am beginning to understand what Criss means by ” not enough hours in the day”! I missed you guys last night ! I wish I could have taken video of Morris! My sister is getting some press photos and a pic of the bridge that I will post when I get a chance. I guess I will be having an 80’s week this week.

4/25/08 4 CommentsTonight I went out to dinner with friends to our local Downtown hangout. The Bellydancers were there! I watched a sword dance so close I could feel the air moving with the dancer as she whirled! It was beautiful! When we left the restaurant to walk home, we ran into the street musicians. They were playing guitar and drums while a guy twirled a double ended torch between two sticks – I forget what they are called. We walked along the river and stared at the moon after that. It was a perfect night- not too hot and not chilly either, just clear and wonderful. It was everything I needed after a long busy week of work. Happy Weekend to all my Loyal family!!

Sensationalism-Smacks-You-Back-Go-Criss-Go!
In a surprising twist and a full bush league attempt, Norm Clarke is hitting MGM/Mirage and Luxor Pres. Felix Rappaport between the legs by warring with LUXOR golden boy. Criss Angel started rehearsals today for his Cirque extravaganza at the Luxor. Using phrases like sequestering policy when referring to Veronica Grabowski and the Miss USA pageant while knowing darn well that there are 51 girls, 16 chaperones, security, PR, and camera crews that are in full time production while in Vegas. Even Esther Swan the Miss USA publicist said’ “That word is kind of harsh”. Next, In the usual Clarke school of sensational journalism, he wrote about supposed domestic friction between Angel and Grabowski due to time Criss was spending with Pamela Anderson in Vegas. It somehow slipped Clarke’s mind and he never mentions that Pam and Criss are friends through their LA management company, The Firm.
Now comes the kicker, in certain circles Clarke is known for revealing “off the record” information or turning “casual conversation” into a story line. This is no better exhibited then Clarke’s third party reporting of an informal conversation between Sandy Mecca, wife of Planet Hollywood honcho Mike Mecca and Criss Angel while making friendly small talk at the valet. Turns out Sandy Mecca was somehow chosen to be a preliminary judge in the competition. Clarke claims that Mecca was so distraught by Angel’s joking with her (days after judging) about high scores for Veronica that she immediately ended the conversation. Clarke claimed Mecca felt it improper and “she even balked at the idea of the three of them taking an escalator into the hotel.” Why didn’t Clarke question Mrs.
Mecca’s judging credentials? Is she seriously that sensitive?
Let’s not forget, Angel filmed his first 2 seasons of his hit A&E show at The Planet Hollywood property before heading over to The Luxor under the reign of Felix Rappaport. Days later in a drastic attempt to win over Donald Trump’s attention Clarke decided to use Angel’s comments as his leverage for time with The Donald. Then it all came down. In his meager attempt to make Angel look bad Clarke reported that Angel was spotted flashing a middle finger during The Miss USA NBC telecast. He continued by adding that shortly after the pageant ended. Angel, his two brothers and a bodyguard ran down a corridor to catch up to Clarke near the entrance of a VIP post-pageant party (where Clarke could receive free food and booze). He claims Angel stated “You’re a (bleeping) idiot,” and that he wanted nothing to do with Clarke or his column in the future. He continued by stating Angel threatened him an F-bomb-laced tirade that ended with Angel being restrained, saying, “Don’t ever write another word about me, or you’ll need an eye patch over your other eye.” Clarke claims that Angel was threatening him and restrained yet there are no police reports on file stating these facts. Clarke continued in his column proving he is fearless by stating, “When he repeated his no-contact edict at nose-to-nose range, his smug response was, “I will try to get over it.” Angel was led away, as he delivered his parting shot: the eye patch threat. “Good one, Criss,” I told him. “Never heard that one before.

The Pot and The Kettle Funny how Clarke doesn’t like being called names or being picked on about a disability. However, Clarke has no problem calling others names.
